Carlsberg Group Jumps 18 places in World’s Largest Corporate Reputation Study driven by purpose and sustainability

In the 2019 Global RepTrak® 100, the annual ranking of the top 100 most reputable companies, Carlsberg Group jumped in rank from #93 to #75, increasing its reputation +3 points.

According to researchers at the Reputation Institute, the leading provider of reputation measurement and management services, the positive development for Carlsberg Group includes a significant increase in our rank for citizenship - up 22 points from 2018.

The massive increase in the citizenship scores follows the successful launch of Carlsberg’s sustainability programme, Together Towards ZERO, as well as the sustainability improvements for the Carlsberg product brand, including the innovative new Snap Pack that removes the plastic around its traditional six-packs and recycled content in wrapping where plastic is still needed.

Cees ‘t Hart, CEO, Carlsberg Group, says:

“We are pleased with the recognition which matches our internal sentiment that people connect with our purpose and support our sustainability ambitions. This is an important part of our corporate strategy, and we appreciate this recognition, although much still remains to be done to deliver on our promises.”

Reputation Institute surveyed more than 230,000 individuals in 15 countries for the Global RepTrak® 100.
