Carlsberg Group provides support and aid to Ukraine and stops investments and exports to Russia

We are deeply shocked by the terrible events unfolding in Ukraine. Millions of lives are being impacted and we strongly condemn the acts of violence and aggression we are witnessing.

Our first priority remains our 1,300 employees in Ukraine and we have taken several actions to ensure their safety and wellbeing and to support the people of Ukraine. In addition, Carlsberg Group, the Carlsberg Foundation and the Tuborg Foundation will donate DKK 75 million (EUR 10 million) to the relief efforts in Ukraine. Read more.

In relation to our business in Russia, Carlsberg Group has decided to immediately stop new investments into Russia as well as exports from other Carlsberg Group companies to Baltika Breweries in Russia. We will respect all applicable sanctions being put in place and continue to assess the situation in relation to our business in Russia.

We take these actions, mindful of the impact on our employees. Carlsberg Group employs more than 40,000 people across the world and remains committed to support and help all our employees, especially in times of turmoil.
