Wiibroe Porter (Imperial Stout) is still remember as the world's best Porter. It was launched to the market in 1930. The aroma is dominated by caramel and liquorice, just as the beer has a powerful taste of English liquorice, toasted chocolate malt and caramel. Wiibroe Porter is brewed with copious amounts of Münich malt and caramel malt, which give a deep dark brown color and light brown foam.
The porter's strong character makes it suitable for the cold winter months. Its caramelised malt flavour goes well in hand with game, roasted pork, sausages, potatoes, ham or chocolate desserts.
