On International Women’s Day 2024, we invited our colleagues to join a virtual session to hear from different speakers on actions we can all take to reach our target.
Over the one and a half hour session, senior leaders from Carlsberg and guest experts led discussions that highlighted:
Speakers included Jacob Aarup-Andersen, CEO; Julie Folmer-Niemann, Global Head of DE&I; and Majken Schultz, Chair of the Carlsberg Foundation and Deputy Chair of the Supervisory Board. They were also joined by Suwatthi Kandiah, a representative from the UN Global Compact.
This session gave an in-depth and inspiring perspective on how careers in leadership at Carlsberg can be a force for good in accelerating gender equality. Taking this time to set out pragmatic steps to reach our goals has been instrumental in empowering people to act.

When our brews and our values combine, good things happen.
Our ZERO Accidents Culture takes an always-on approach to improving environmental, health and safety performance across our operations. In India, our Mysuru brewery was recognised for its commitment to best practice in this area.
Our ZERO Accidents Culture is essential to creating a safe working environment across all our sites. A Carlsberg brewery in Foshan, China, has achieved great success in proving that upholding rigorous standards protects people’s health and safety.
